Description:
On Feb. 2, women from all around the area will be coming to Hidden Valley Resort in Huntsville to participate in this all-women snowmobile event.
The snowmobile ride is set to raise both money and awareness about the financial burdens Canadian women face when fighting breast cancer. It is also held in memory of co-founder Kelly Shires, who in 2004 passed away from her eight-year battle with breast cancer.
If you would like to register for this fun-filled weekend, there is limited space available. The group will be taking over the entire resort exclusively for this event. There are four groups you can join for the snow run, whether you’re new to the sport or you love to zoom around on the trails, there’s a group for you. Participants are encouraged to take pledges to raise money.
There will also be a raffle held, for only $10 a ticket, for gift cards, a stay at Hidden Valley, and even a brand new Ski-Doo. It’s definitely an event you do not want to miss, with special surprises all weekend long.
