Time: 5:30 pm Free Spaghetti Supper and Skate Night - Muskoka Christian School invites you and your family to a free Spaghetti Supper and Skate Night. Time: 12:00 am (All Day Event) Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Snow Run - On Feb. 2, women from all around the area will be coming to Hidden Valley Resort in Huntsville to participate in this all-women snowmobile event. The snowmobile ride is set to raise both money and awareness about the financial burdens Canadian women face when fighting breast cancer. It is also held in memory of co-founder Kelly Shires, who in 2004 passed away from her eight-year battle with breast cancer. If you would like to register for this fun-filled weekend, there is limited space available. The group will be taking over the entire resort exclusively for this event. There are four groups you can join for the snow run, whether you’re new to the sport or you love to zoom around on the trails, there’s a group for you. Participants are encouraged to take pledges to raise money. There will also be a raffle held, for only $10...
    Time: 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Soup Luncheon - MacTier - The 2013 soup kitchen luncheons are being held at the St. James the Great Catholic Church hall instead of the MacTier Lions Hall. Reason for this is many elderly coming to the luncheons had a hard time getting up and down the stairs. So the soup luncheons are on January 19, and 26; February 2, and the 9, all from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $5 a person and you get a bowl of soup, sandwich, dessert, and beverage. It’s a good deal.
